The TC CUP is our Regional playoff tournament where all U10-U14 teams compete to win the championship and earn a berth to participate in AYSO Area 1C post-season play.
Two teams from each division will advance in post-season play to represent Temple City in the Area 1C Playthrough Tournament. These two teams are known as the Region Champion and the Region Runner-Up.
The Region Champion is determined by the teams that are ranked 1st in their divisional standings at the conclusion of our 9-week regular season. The Region Runner-Up is determined by the team that wins the TC CUP Tournament. Should the Region Champion win the TC CUP, the tournament runner up will become the Region Runner-Up team.
The seedings for the TC CUP tournament single-elimination brackets are determined by the divisional rankings at the conclusion of our 9th week.
Coaches, referees, parents and players should begin becoming familiar with the TC Cup Guidelines before the start of the tournament so you can ask questions regarding situations before they happen during your games.
As exciting as our TC CUP games will be, we all must remember that we will still be abiding by our Zero Tolerance On Referee Abuse.
In order to insure our TC Cup tournament's success, we will continue to count on each and every team's cooperation throughout the tournament. Our referee pool has been superb this year! We are asking all referees to support our tournament by being prepared to AR your own team's games, although the Region will be making every effort to provide experienced referees for all TC Cup games.
The referee sign-up sheet is now posted. Your continued volunteerism in officiating games helps ensure that our kids get the most awesome experience that they all deserve! Please check the sign-up sheet prior to your games in the event any needed changes were made. The sign-up sheet will be managed by our Referee Administrator, David Alvarez. Be sure to contact him with any questions you might have regarding sign-ups or TC CUP procedures.
In order to avoid game conflicts for our multi-team coaches, some game times may be changed. Multi-team coaches should, however, be prepared to have their assistant coaches lead a team in the event that a later-round conflict arises between their two teams.
